Origins
Quetzalcoatl (Rider) is from Mayan mythology. Once a beautiful prince, her vanity caught up to him. Her brother used the mirror to corrupt her mind.
Due to vanity taking over, Quetzalcoatl (Rider) saw her snake body down below. Because of this, she hid and asked her friend to make a coat to hide her appearance. Thus, his friend made her a rainbow coat of a plumed serpent. However, her brother tricked her once again. Giving her a potent wine, Quetzalcoatl (Rider) became so drunk that she made love to her sister – Quetzalpetal. When she realized this, Quetzalcoatl (Rider) then resolved to die.
After she died, she rose back to teach humans everything was to survival. Hunting, fishing, and even knitting – all these things in order for humanity to survive. As soon as she saw that humanity could survive by themselves, she set sail on the back of serpents. Quetzalcoatl (Rider) vowed to return when humanity truly needed her once more.
