Origins

Suzuka Gozen has multiple professions. One of them being a thief and another being a celestial maiden. Other people know her as an oni. However, she also has another name: Tate Eboshi.

She worked alongside the wolf clan in Mount Suzuka before falling in love with Sakanoue no Tamuramaro. Together, they slaughtered a variety of oni. During the Heian period, people believed she had divine powers. Although she claims to send “invitations” to team up with Otakemaru and conquer Japan together, she believes her letters were ignored. In reality, she demands him to be her retainer and conquer Japan for her. Due to the repeated disrespect, she threatens to show up or she will go after him and kill him.
