Origins
This is the man who Elizabeth Bathory was often likened to.
People know him by different names. Some know him as Vlad III. Others know him as Vlad the Impaler. But his most famous title is the name Dracula. Wielder of the spear, his courtyard often had his victims impaled on spears. Blood would fill the courtyards as their terrified expressions would look up to the sky after realizing they had come across Vlad of Wallachia.
While he is a celebrated hero of Romanian history, it was a tragedy. Vlad III cherished the independence of the Romanian kingdom deeply. He hated the Turks and slaughtered them similarly like a demon. Hence, he received the fear that accompanied the moniker “Dracula”. Upon defeating the Turks, he sentenced to death via impalement. Soon, 20,000 Turks littered the grounds of Romania impaled on spears. At the sight of this, the nobles of Romania turned against him and had him assassinated. Despite this, he is a celebrated hero among Christians.
The name “Dracula” means son of the dragon. His father, Vlad II joined the Holy Order of the Dragon hence the name Dracula. He can also be summoned as a Berserker.
