Honda Tadakatsu Boss Guide
Honda Tadakatsu is a boss that William will encounter in Main Mission: The Defiled Castle and Side Mission: The Champion of the East. He mainly uses a spear, so his attacks are quite swift and his movements are agile.
First Encounter – The Defiled Castle
In your first battle with him in Main Mission: The Defiled Castle, the only thing you have to do is to destroy the 3 purple crystals scattered around the area. Break the crystals and dodge his attacks if he is nearby. This fight is really easy since you don’t really have to fight him in order to defeat him.
Second Encounter – The Champion of the East
In your second battle in Side Mission: The Champion of the East, there won’t be anymore crystals that you can destroy in the area, so this one will be a real fight. Since he primarily uses a spear in this encounter, you can match up with him by also using a spear but in high stance.
Make sure that you have the spear skill “Spearfall” as this can deal easier and bigger damage against him. Dodge his attack and then use this skill against him. Spearfall will easily knock him down, making it the perfect time for you to land a finisher.
