Hozoin Inei is an optional Dojo Boss in Nioh. You will encounter him in the Dojo Mission Steel Across Steel, which is a mission that you’ll unlock if you have a 500,000 proficiency in Spears. You must also complete the Main Mission Immortal Flame to unlock this Dojo Mission.

Hozoin Inei Boss Guide
In your fight against him, you have to use only a spear. Use mid stance and strike him from a distance in order to get away from his attacks much faster. If you have the skill “Spearfall” use that against him to deplete his Ki so you can punish him with strong attacks while he is recovering his Ki. If you can, try to keep him standing on the bridge so he won’t be able to move as much in the area.
Defeating him unlocks the mystic art for the sword and the Spear Master Trophy.
