Atalante
HP | 1996 | ATK | 1438 |
---|---|---|---|
Max HP | 12476 | Max ATK | 8633 |
Strategy
- Atalante’s NP allows her to garner Critical Stars, and at the same time grants Quick buffs which makes her suitable for teams reliant on Quick Cards.
- Consider the ally servants to pair with her to cover up for her lacking NP effectiveness.
- Beyond Arcadia is suitable as a Quick Cards buff for the other members.
- Atalante can fulfill the role as as a collector of Critical Stars for the team through her NP’s overcharge.
- She is however lacking in the Critical damage aspect, therefore prioritize on choosing support servants that can equip craft essences and Skills that deal high Critical damage.
- Capitalize on her Beyond Arcadia Skill as she specializes as a Quick Cards buffer.
- Having Beyond Arcadia enables allies such as Lancelot to strengthen his NP damage.
Best Equipment
- Kaleidoscope and The Imaginary Element both give her a headstart in NP as either will mitigate her sub-par NP effectiveness
- Although the former grants more ATK at the expense of no added HP, while the latter grants a an additional ATK to compensate for the lower HP and starting NP.
- Gem Magecraft: Antumbra complements those who wish to optimize the effects of stacking Critical Star Absorption that her Skill demonstrates as it grants her the chance to score Overkills in addition to accumulating NP and Critical Stars.
- Another Craft Essence that invests on NP, Divine Banquet differs from the former as it supplies NP instead of granting a headstart immediately.

Origins
A famed huntress in Greek mythology – if there was anyone who emulated Artemis, it was Atalante.
Her father wanted a son. But Atalante proved herself better. She became the mortal mistress of the hunt, swearing her allegiance to Artemis. Because of this, she also made a vow of chastity much to the chagrin of her father. Her father then decided sent a message to all in Greece for those who wanted her hand. Terrified of the prospect, Atalante only agreed she’d accept her suitor if only via a foot race. Many tried but Atalante had outrun them all. Atalante proved to be fleet-footed, letting the winds toss her golden tresses. However, a man named Melanion defeated her. With the help of a goddesd, he gained three golden apples he could use to distract her.
Soon, the two married and she bore a son. Her adventure continued with the Cadylonian Boar Hunt. None could kill it save her. Upon killing it, the men grew jealous but Meleager insisted that his wife keeps its hide as it was her kill. His uncles demanded it but Meleager killed them out of anger, causing his death at the hands of his grieving mother.
Atalante, free again, departed and continued on other journeys.

Meleager? I thought she married someone named hippomenes, who cheated using those apples..meleager dies before that i think
There are different accounts but some say she married Hippomenes (Melanion) first. Others say that she married Meleager first. But for the Cadylonian Boar hunt, Meleager was the one involved. Melanion was the one for the golden apples. 🙂
