Aside from the Saber class having the most beneficiaries, the Choco Coin of Saber also benefits the player in the long run. Not only can players buy the Saber Valentine’s Craft Essences but, players can also convert it into chocolate when they find out they no longer have any Saber Valentine’s Craft Essence to buy with it. Servants included among the Saber servants for the Valentines’ 2018 event are Nero, Nero Bride, Altera, Altria Pendragon, Altria Lily, Altria Pendragon Alter, Mordred, Okita Souji and Chevalier D’Eon which totals to an amount of 1350 Choco Coin of Saber. However, again, this assumes you have all aforementioned Saber class servants in your roster.

But it’s alright, there’s no need to panic. There are some ways to easily farm the 1350 Choco Coins for Saber! Here are some fool-proof tips for the idea!

Tips and Tricks: Choco Coin of Saber Farming Guide

When farming Choco Coin of Sabers, first thing to do is have a good set of multi-hitting Archer class servants. Archer class servants work well against Saber class servants but not all of them have multi-hit noble phantasms. Having a multi-hit noble phantasm will make it easier for you to quickly burn through the stage without having to struggle picking them off one by one and worrying about the Saber‘s noble phantasm.

Best Servant for Farming: Any Archer with a multi-hit noble phantasm

Arjuna

Atalante

EMIYA

Gilgamesh

Oda Nobunaga

Orion, Robin Hood, and David have single hit noble phantasms whereas Gilgamesh, Atalante, Arjuna, EMIYA, and Oda Nobunaga have multi-hit noble phantasms. Euryale may be an Archer but her skills make her too situational for farming. The five aforementioned servants above can clear waves but their maximum potential depends highly on the team’s build. For example, EMIYA can work well with a Berserker class servant because of his 3 Arts Cards and Buster Noble Phantasm.

Use Saber Valentine’s Craft Essences

Once you’ve gained enough coins, you’ll be able to unlock the craft essences of certain servants. As of now, the only available servants for the FGO Valentines Event include: Nero, Nero Bride, Altera, Altria Pendragon, Altria Lily, Altria Pendragon Alter, Mordred, Okita Souji and Chevalier D’Eon

As previously mentioned, each of their craft essences cost at least 150 Choco Coin of Saber. However, if you get one, you’ll be able to add +2 to the sum total of additional Choco Coin of Saber. For example:

Lucky for us, the effects stack so the more you combine the better. And it helps the Melty Sweetheart Craft essence as well! Since the Melty Sweetheart Craft Essence is an additional +2, you can stack it on top of the Saber Craft Essence to get an additional +2 per Melty Sweetheart Craft Essence added.

With that, gaining Choco Coins gets easier the more Saber Craft Essences you get. Below are the available craft essence for the Valentines 2018 Event.

Note for Supports: Equip your Saber Craft Essences on Archer Class Servants

Now, remember that Archer class servants have a big advantage here over Saber class servants. If you equip them onto your Archer class servants in your support list, you’re more bound to get Friend Points. And more Friend Points mean more chances of kicking up your pity counter for the RNG to fall in your favour.

Stack the Melty Sweetheart CE

The Melty Sweetheart CE will always be your best bet. For starters, don’t LB (Limit Break) it first. While it is tempting to increase the stats, it’s better to have it scattered among your servants. Why? Apparently, after LB-ing it, the amount only increases by one. So, you’ll only have +3 instead of having a +10 scattered across the servants. Doing so will distribute the event effect of the Melty Sweetheart Craft Essence, making it easier for you to farm. However, farming for the Melty Sweetheart Craft Essence might take awhile as the amount of Baking Chocolates increase the more you buy the Melty Sweetheart Craft essence.

In fact, once you’ve stacked up enough Melty Sweetheart CE, you can try farming the lower levels since this makes up for majority of the drops.

Choco Coin Gathering: Expert or Bitter?

Now, if the Baking Chocolate’s still too hard to farm, the next best thing would be farming the coins directly. However, one issue is that fighting against Saber class servants can be annoying especially if your servants don’t reach the level requirement. So, the next thing would be to farm the quest that fits to one’s level. Forcing it would be forcing you to use the Command Spells just so you can resurrect the servants you sacrificed for those coins. Depending on the level, choose a quest that one can complete comfortably. Despite over-all, the Bitter level drops a whole lot more.
