Strategy
- EMIYA is a 4 Star Class servant whose growth rate is decent.
- He has Mind’s Eye (True) and Clairvoyance which makes him a versatile ally to several parties.
- By raising him gradually, he will eventually learn more Skills such as Hawkeye and Projection Magecraft which promotes Critical Star generation to enable him to improve his decent ATK to net more powerful damage.
- Considering his NP, he can make quick work of otherwise durable enemies as the added effect bypasses their DEF.
- Focus on enhancing his Skill Hawkeye to maximize his Star Absorption rate and Critical damage.
- He works well with Zhuge Liang as he can immediately boost his NP gauge. It’ll also allow him to deal over-all damage due to Tactician’s Command and sustain (Tactician’s Advice).
Best Equipment
- Since the occurrence of Arts Cards is common for EMIYA, it is recommended to equip him with Formal Craft to promote the effectiveness of Arts and his Skills such as Magecraft.
- Heaven’s Feel is another Craft essence (CE) that takes advantage of EMIYA’s high Arts count as the chain should max out his NP, thereby activating his NP to trigger the CE’s effect.
- One of the recommended essences that influences the critical damage, Gem Magecraft: Antumbra pairs well alongside EMIYA’s Hawkeye Skill as it stacks Critical damage. If C. Star absorption is a problem, Sealing Designation Enforcer lets him take more C. Stars and maximize his skill.

Origins
In an alternate timeline, Shiro Emiya had his wish granted as the saviour of the world. However, the world continued to crumble and destroy itself. Thus, he became disillusioned with the concept of being a hero. Upon his death, he wished to return to the past and kill his past self to deny his existence. Upon becoming a hero for the Holy Grail, he denied his name and only kept his last name: EMIYA.
EMIYA’s gift is not exactly a noble phantasm. His ability is to replicate them. His ability to trace and reconstruct weapons allowed him to aid his servant, Saber in combat. Not just that, as a servant, he had a variety of weapons which allowed him to fight Ilya’s servant – Berserker and managed to kill it 5 times. Thus, his noble phantasm is actually a Reality Marble. The Reality Marble contains all the swords he created in his life time.
