Origins
Part of the Fuuma Clan, who were first known as the Kazama. The clan received earnings through hunting, lumberjack, and growing fields. When the time has come to be assigned on a Mission, they have since bore the name Fuuma.
The fifth head, succeeding Houjou Souun – Ujitsuna, is Fuuma Kotarou.
Little pieces were kept which depicted the Fuuma, who distinguish themselves from the ninjas, the Iga and Kuga Clans. It was during the warring states that the ties between the Houjou household and the Fuuma were severed.
Hardly any information can be spoken of their roots. Some say they descended from the clan who were mounted on horses. Despite the absence of records, it is however certain that citizens cower in fear whenever they hear stories about the Fuuma Clan.
Kotarou is said to have both foreign and oni blood running through his veins. He was regarded as the best of the “shinobi.” However, even though his body was a summit which is fitting for his position; his mentality, where he preferred to spend his time in isolation, was not.
