Origins

Also known as the Lesser Key of Solomon, the Goetia is the compilation of all the beasts and demons. They are the creatures that have tormented humanity. Goetia himself is a personification of all the demon’s desires and stands at the pinnacle of their power. Goetia was initially described as a beast. However, history has translated the Latin term Goetia as the means of conjuring and summoning of demons. Based on different texts, the Goetia was a means of summoning performed by King Solomon.

Upon summoning the demons, King Solomon bound the demons to his will. With the use of magic seals, he encased the 72 demons and left them no choice but to serve him.
