Origins
A celestial being from Crimea whose dogma is to uphold her presence and dedication. Earning the title, the Little War Office, Nightingale has conviction in her words and addresses even those who occupy the upper echelon in the monarchy. Others pale in comparison to the persistence she carries.
In spite of belonging to an aristocratic family, Nightingale dreams of putting herself in the shoes of servants as a nurse. This led her to studying medicine in London, and in effect devoted her life to stimulating the growth and living conditions of nurses.
Her life changed when she was sent to the Crimean War to facilitate the British Empire’s Army Hospital as the manager of nurses. Upon arriving there, she found herself disgusted. None of the medical tools were sterilized. Many of the soldiers died via injection. It pained her to see many soldiers die. Through her exposure in this foreign environment, she realized the gravity of how disastrous life in the hospital would be if nurses failed to hone their skills and knowledge to perform with professionalism and excellence. She became the hospital’s savior, by drastically changing the mortality rate from an alarming 40% to a remarkable rate of 5%.
Her efforts were seen by soldiers as the personification of an angel, and with the revival of the hospital’s competence, her name circulated across London in praise.
Nightingale resumed her pursuit for the glory not only of nurses through quality health care for the infantry. She did all of this but for the sake of saving lives.
