Secret Joy of the Impaler Main Quest
For the 5th Quest of the Fate Grand Order Halloween 2017 Event, the Secret Joy of the Impaler Main Quest begins with the player, Mash, and Kiyohime continuing deeper into the castle. After defeating Carmilla, the protagonist, Mash, and Kiyohime find themselves face to face with Vlad III, the Impaler. Here also, they confirm their suspicions as to who is making a large event out of everything. During the Secret Joy of the Impaler Main Quest, Vlad III confirms also that he is ordered by her to make the event enjoyable.

Tips:
- As a warm up for the Secret Joy of the Impaler Main Quest, bring Assassin class servants with you. If you have Carmilla, so much the better. Or, if you have offensive Assassins like Sasaki, Carmilla, or even Jing Ke can do.
- Stheno will not have much use here as she’s an Assassin that focuses killing males.
- However, this doesn’t mean she’s not entirely useless in this portion of the Secret Joy of the Impaler Main Quest.

Tips:
- Saber class servants defeat Lancer class enemies easily.
- However, if you have Siegfried, he can serve as a dual purpose for the Secret Joy of the Impaler Main Quest. He has a special ability that allows him to slay dragon-type enemies quickly.

Tips
- Again, Siegfried can plow through these enemies without a second thought. As a famed Dragonslayer, Siegfried has a special ability that upgrades his defense against Dragon type enemies.
- The Scarecrows have a low defense so players can opt to use any kind of servant except Rider class servants to clean up the mess.

Tips:
- Just like any quest in the Fate Grand Order Halloween 2017 Event, the final boss in the final arrow is always the biggest threat. In this case, it’s Vlad III. As a Berserker class servant, he deals extra damage to all classes except Shielders and Rulers.
- Accompanying him are two Horror Wyverns. Using the first wave as a means to charge one’s NP gauge, players can use Siegfried‘s Balmung to eliminate the Horror Wyverns.
- However, charging Siegfried‘s NP may be a tad difficult. Either, have Prisma Cosmos or have Zhuge Liang power up his NP for him.
- If Siegfried is unavailable, Carmilla can also fill the role. Not only does she deal extra damage to Rider class enemies but, she can also drain NP and lower defenses. And for fighting against Vlad III, it’s a must to lower his defense and prevent him from using his Noble Phantasm.
- After defeating him, you’ll have finished the Secret Joy of the Impaler Main Quest.
