Some of these things include ascension items, EXP cards, hero crystals, and most importantly – the craft essence: Melty Sweetheart.

Take note of the Rate Up

The Rate Up is when the different stages during the Valentines 2018 event have a higher tendency to release a particular class. In doing so, players will not have to worry so much about team composition. By knowing the Rate Up, players can also plot, combine, and create a proper team to counter the said enemies before they cause problems. For example, one day has a Saber Rate Up. Because it’s Saber rate up, players are more bound to run an Archer team since Archers win against Sabers.

Knowing when the Rate Up is also dictates what are the possible supports a player can find when farming. Players can use the Rate Up to predict what servants players might put up on their supports such as Saber Rate Up forcing players to bring out their best Archers. At the same time, it will dictate somewhat the craft essences that will be equipped on each of them. Often times, players will equip a Craft Essence of a servant class to the class that is advantageous against that particular class. Such example would be an Archer class servant bearing a Saber craft essence such as the Crown Saber CE.

Bring a team of multi-hitting Servants

Now depending on what the Rate-Up is, it will also affect your team composition. But regardless of that, best bring servants who have multi-hitting noble phantasms or are also known as “wave clearers”. The “wave clearers” will make things a whole lot easier; especially when farming against other classes. Some servants that players will most likely have would be Kiyohime (Berserker), Darius III (Berserker), Elisabeth Bathory (Halloween) (Caster), Oda Nobunaga (Archer), Altria Lily (Saber), and Medusa (Rider).

Common factor? They all have multi-hitting noble phantasms.

Having multi-hitting noble phantasms will definitely make the battles faster especially if you have servants who can’t tank too much. At the same time, it’s easier then having to peel away the enemies one by one based on potential threat. One doesn’t need to look at the noble phantasm gauge

Once you have a proper set of servants, next is choosing the stage to farm Baking Chocolate.

Choco Gathering Bitter: Saber/Archer/ Lancer vs. Rider/Caster/Berserker/Assassin

Between the two, it’s better to farm the Rider/Caster/Berserker/Assassin version. There are more enemies in the Choco Gathering Bitter stage for both those classes and over-all drop more chocolate. At the same time, they drop more coins due to having more enemies than the Saber/Archer/Lancer stage. Players can opt to use a multi-hitting Berserker class servant to make the battles easier. Or, a Berserker class servant with raw damage high enough to OHKO (One-hit KO) enemies such as Heracles.
