Base Model Farming Guide
The Base Model is a creature found crawling around during the Kara no Kyoukai Event. They appear similar to the Automata but don’t always have the same skills. When farming for a Base Model, they normally appear in numbers and under the Assassin class. As an Assassin class monster, they only need three turns before unleashing their special move to take out any of your servants. At the same time, they gain an additional buff after completing their attack.
Tips and Tricks: Base Model Farming
First thing to take note of is the class the Base Model spawns in. As an Assassin class enemy, the Base Model suffers extra damage from Caster class enemies especially those who have high damaging capabilities.

Best Place to Farm: Room 202
Room 202 is a full Assassin area AND it features only Base Models. If you’re trying to farm them down quick and fast, this is the best place to go. At the same time, your last enemy will be Hassan of the Cursed Arm. And if you’ve checked the mission list, you need to kill 15 Assassin enemies to complete the mission. And if you’re looking for an easy time to simply spam your Caster team, this room would be the best one to start spamming in.

Recommended Servants: Any Caster Class servant with a Multi Hit Noble Phantasm

Sorry Medea, but we do need some wave clearing Caster class servants. While there’s also Gilles De Rais, Mephistopheles, Paracelsus Von Hohenheim, you’re going to need a lot more brute power than they can offer. Cu Chulainn Caster also offers sustainability due to his Evade skill whereas Nursery Rhyme can go on a Crit build since she can power up her Critical Strength. Elisabeth Bathory (Halloween) on the other hand was a welfare servant during the Halloween Event in which most players would have her.
However if you have stronger servants such as Zhuge Liang or Tamamo no Mae, make sure they’re strong enough to kill monsters in a single blow.
Craft Essence of Choice: Threefold Barrier
After gaining a good amount of Strawberry Ice Creams, you’ll be able to buy the Threefold Barrier. Now, this craft essence is also available in the Event Shop which players can buy for 100 Strawberry Ice Cream in the shop. If players don’t like the effect, I suggest throwing Mash in since she doesn’t have a summon cost and you can place her in the farthest slot of the party set-up. Doing so will allow the craft essence to still take effect during combat without you having to risk your team of getting wiped.
