Sealed Ends of the Four Seas: Okeanos

In Okeanos Section 8, the battle becomes increasingly desperate. The desperate battle of Edward Teach‘s forces against those of the famous Francis Drake. As players board the ship of Edward Teach, the protagonist and Mash break through the ranks to finally confront Blackbeard himself. However Okeanos Section 8, there seems to be a lot more in store even if it’s just Edward Teach we’re dealing with.

Okeanos Section 8 – Desperate Battle

Okeanos Section 8

The three hardest battles all throughout Okeanos Section 8 are the servant bosses. Anne Bonny and Mary Read is a boss in Okeanos Section 8 that focuses on buffing her critical rate. It helps that as a member of the Rider class, she can also gain a ton of Critical Stars to increase her chances of dealing critical hits. Hector and Edward Teach are both increasingly tanky in Okeanos Section 8 which makes them annoying to kill. Players cannot just opt to spam NPs here in Okeanos Section 8.

Tips

  • Again like all battles that include a single servant, Edward Teach is the biggest threat.
  • His most irritating skill is probably Pirate’s Honour which will keep him alive. When he casts this, the best way the player can deal with him is to not perform a Brave Chain. The Brave Chain won’t swap character therefore, not activating the Battle Continuation effect.
  • Bring an Assassin class servant to easily single him out. However, take note of the Archer class enemies nearby.
  • However, the Archer class enemies that loiter around Okeanos Section 8 here are not too much of a problem.
  • What will be a problem is if the player does not kill them immediately.
  • Another is that Edward Teach‘s noble phantasm – the Queen Anne’s Revenge – is a multi-hit noble phantasm. Make sure you either stall him or kill him immediately.

Tips

  • Hector is a new servant in Fate Grand Order. As this is his initial debut, he’s quite similar to Cu Chulainn.
  • However, his focus is more on Noble Phantasm powering and his gauge. His NP not only reduces defense but also deals heavy damage since it ignores defense.
  • The best way to bring him down is to pit him against a tanky Saber class servant such as Altria Pendragon.
  • As the final boss of Okeanos Section 8, he’s quite annoyingly tanky. Not only that, he also has a few stuns.
  • The best thing to go for against this part in Okeanos Section 8 is to focus powering up the Noble Phantasm with the first few grunts.
  • If players can stun him or give him a heavy debuff, it should help in defeating Hector. When the player finally defeats him, you would have finished Fate Grand Order Okeanos Section 8, winning the Desperate Battle.
