Orion
While most servants appeared genderbent in Fate Grand Order, Orion is not actually genderbent in this aspect. In fact, the real Orion is actually the teddy bear sitting on the young woman’s shoulder. And the young woman? Is none other than the goddess of the hunt herself, Artemis. According to the lore of Fate Grand Order, this Archer class servant had a mishap upon summoning which turned Orion into the bear while Artemis became the personification of the hunter. Orion first made her appearance during the Moon Festival Event where she happened to be the culprit for stealing the dumplings.

Strategy
- Orion has a high C. Star absorption thanks to his class. This makes Orion suitable for Critical Teams.
- A rule of thumb is to be mindful of pairing others who tend to draw C. Stars away from him. For instance, a Rider class servant generally has high Absorption among all classes. This can be dealt with by using certain Craft Essences, although it is best to pair other classes that do not compete with her C. Star absorption if he is intended as a primary Critical Attacker.
- Although an Arts Chain is best for gathering NP, you can also throw some Quick Cards during your turn due to his split Quick, Arts deck composition. A decent draw for Orion is to throw an Arts-Quick-Quick Brave Chain. This allows him to maintain a stable supply of C. Stars while refilling NP gauge.
- Prioritize on enhancing Grace of the Goddess among his other Skills as it casts a variety of buffs (notably ATK and DEF) to maximize his potential as a Critical attacker.
- Judging from Orion’s card composition, he appreciates support from servants that can prolong his potential to deal Critical damage. A good measure is to consider servants that generate C. Stars easily for him to absorb.
- One of the recommended servants to pair with him is Hans Christian Andersen, who learns Innocent Monster to spread C. Stars for the party. In addition his Human Observation covers Orion’s requirement to raise the chance to land those Critical Attacks. Apart from that, with his NP he can efficiently spread heals and buffs which pair well with his self-sustaining skills. This further improves Orion durability to insane levels as a defensive Archer class.
Best Equipment
- Orion appreciates Craft Essences that bolster his NP, this range from those that boost Arts effectiveness or those which give a generous supply of NP charge.
- Formal Craft is suitable to raise the effectiveness of Orion’s moderate amount of Arts Cards. The result is that it significantly increases his NP gauge and boosts the firepower of Orion’s NP.
- Divine Banquet is recommended to reach the maximum NP gauge. It bestows Orion with around 25~30% refill, and is compatible with his split Arts and Quick pile.

Origins
Orion is the giant hunter that Zeus placed among the stars. He is the man that Artemis desired but unfortunately, Orion didn’t swing that way. He – or rather, she – fell in love with the goddess of dawn, Eos.
When first summoned, Orion is considered just the sidekick of Artemis. Because of her interference, she became the Servant and lost her Divinity. Orion on the other hand lost his form and just became a bear. He tends to be a flirt and a lady-killer. Often times, this makes him butt heads with a female character or gets Artemis angry enough.
However in other pieces of literature, Orion is the son of Poseidon and Euryale. He can walk on the waves of the sea, inheriting Poseidon’s powers.
