Silver Medals are drops that appear in Fate Grand Order [FGO]. These drop only during the special event which is the Nero Festival. During the Nero Festival, players fight certain battles in order to claim medals. These medals then are exchanged in the Event Exchange portion of Da Vinci’s Shop. But where and how to farm them can be quite vague as they only drop in certain areas. Here are some ways to easily farm them:

Tip #1: Convert the Bronze Medals

When the player checks Event Exchange of the Nero Festival in Da Vinci’s Shop, players will spot a conversion rate in which they can turn in Bronze Medals into Silver Medals.

For every 10 Bronze Medals, players can exchange it for a single silver medal. The Bronze Medals are easily farmed from the Novice stages such as Salon de Caster, Battle at Gojo Bridge, or We Come in Secret. Since the stages only need 5 AP, it will not tax the player’s AP too much. Note that the Novice stage also drops approximately 10 Bronze Medals per battle which leaves you having 1 Silver Medal per battle.

This also takes note of the charge rate of 5 minutes to 1 AP. Because of the 5:1 ratio, one can leave the game running for the next 25 minutes and replenish the 5 AP spent. There’s less time spent waiting for 20 AP which takes at least 100 minutes (approximately 1.6 hours) to replenish.

There is also no limit as to how many one can exchange.

Tip #2: Play the Advanced or Intermediate Mode

As of now, there’s no final say as to which mode between the two drops more Silver medals. Nonetheless, both stages drop Silver Medals. The difficulty will then lie in on the player’s team builds and also servants. However, it may be a bit easier to run the Advanced stage such as Diva with a Beautiful Voice + 1 due to it having the conventional servant affinities. The Intermediate stage, By the White Flag, has the Ruler Class Jeanne D’ Arc which may take longer to kill.

Note: However, if one plans to extend and chart one’s AP regeneration, play the Intermediate stage. As it only takes 50 minutes to replenish compared to the 1.6 hours to replenish the 20 AP spent for Advanced. Another is that Advanced gives more EXP but the drop rates for silver vary together with the gold medals.

Tip #3: Find a strong support ally

The problem with these kinds of battles is that they take long should the player not have a strong support ally. Having a support ally is good. Having a support ally with the affinity strong against the enemies is even better. Also, make sure that the support ally has a Support-Type servant to keep it alive in battle. Some servants may not have enough self-preservation which results to them dying immediately in battle.
