This article contains information about the Holy Grail and how to use it in Fate Grand Order [FGO]. We’ll update this article when we find more ways to obtain this item.
Holy Grail
In Fate Grand Order [FGO], the Holy Grail is an item all magi covet. From the story line, the Holy Grail is a magical item that materializes the desires of all humanity. Be it good or evil, this item takes the form of a golden cup and grants the winner of the war a wish. This wish can range fro completely destroying all of humanity to resurrecting a loved one.
However gameplay-wise, this item appears after finishing each of the Singularities in Fate Grand Order. After gaining the Holy Grail, the player can head to Da Vinci’s shop to utilize this item. There, you can use this item under the option, Palingenesis.
Palingenesis
Palingenesis is an option found in Da Vinci’s shop where the player can use the Holy Grail. In doing so, it increases the max level of a particular servant up to 2 levels. This may also include bolstering its stats such as granting higher bonuses to their ATK and HP. In doing so, it may grant the servant a more combative edge against its enemies.
Once the player reaches this menu, pick a servant to enhance up another level. Before doing this however, the servant selected must be at max level. In order to gain the max level, the player must farm for EXP Cards that have a 20% bonus increase on matching servants. And to gain those EXP cards, there are certain days meant for certain classes of EXP Cards. Another is that the player must have at least 1 Holy Grail. Also, the player must have a lot of QP which can be farmed from the QP Farming Enemies.

This method works best with servants that are maxed out in terms of Ascension stages. Before performing Palingenesis on the servant, make sure that the servant is maxed out in terms of Ascension and Level. Also, make sure that one has enough QP to support the enhancement.
How to get Holy Grail
As of now, there is no other known method other than completing the Singularity to earn a Holy Grail. However, there may be events that drop the Holy Grail. Or, certain events that the developers will send a free Holy Grail to the gift box.
I’m still a little fuzzy on when doing a grail ascension makes sense. If I am at level 50 – would grailing up even work? Or is it just a bad idea?
Did they change the amount of level. Was it increase by 5 ?
Apparently so I think. But the increase by 5 may only occur if the servant is at maxed ascension. I’m still trying to find out. Because when I took the screenshot, Altria was only on her third. Gonna attempt the 4th ascension stage today. 🙂
