Tips

  • Having as much Caster class servants as you can afford makes quick work of the Assassin class enemies. Begin charging Arts cards right off the bat, a decent composition would look something similar to the team build shown below.
  • Finding a strong support is always welcome given that there are tons of people to be added from the bulletin board. Apart from that, the decent Arts cards that these servants have form a great synergy as there is a high chance to chain one each turn.

Tips

  • Mordred decides to take you on solo thus be sure to bring as much Archer class servants as you can.
  • Robin Hood is also a decent Archer class servant because his Sabotage followed by his NP is suitable for boss-type battles like this. This weakens Mordred to allow the servants to optimize the little sustainability that they have.
  • One of the best support servants is Gilgamesh save for his sustainability. If there is a support that has an NP generating Craft Essence, it is the most desirable to strike Mordred with a huge chunk of damage. At the same time, you can also exploit Mordred’s weakness to Enuma Elish.
  • To complete the Archer trinity, there is also Arash who can sacrifice himself to deal massive damage.
  • EMIYA can also be a probable Archer due to him having Magecraft. If combined with Formalcraft or any Craft Essence that bolsters the output of his Arts cards, he can quickly fill up his NP gauge bar for him to use Unlimited Blade Works.
  • David can also play a big role. His NP is single target and sure hit; he also has a skill which casts Evade on all allies to avoid Mordred‘s Clarent Blood Arthur.

Tips

  • After a grueling fight against Mordred, continuing the node will have the group face another wave of homunculi. Fortunately the affinity is only Lancer class, and thus a team of Saber class servants fare exceptionally well.
  • Caesar’s Charisma helps to buff up the team whereas the more offensive servants should focus on inflicting either Arts or Buster chains whenever they can. Altria Lily has a mixture of balanced stats and a good combination of Buster and Arts cards composition. With support from Caesar, she can dispatch the waves of homunculi to support other sabers such as Altera.
  • Caesar can also cast Tactics to hasten the party’s NP charge.

Tips

  • The Magic Book is more tanky than it is damaging especially if you have a trio of Rider servants. As a sub boss of the One Pen, One Book stage however, it can get quire annoying. Players can opt for Medusa who focuses heavily on offense. Santa Alter isn’t a bad choice either as she also has Excalibur Morgan at Level 5.
    • However, pure offense comes best from either Francis Drake or Anne Bonny and Mary Read who focus on dealing damage. The only blatant difference is that Francis Drake focuses on multiple enemies (Golden Wild Hunt) and can buff NP (Voyager of the Storm & Pioneer of the Stars) whereas Anne Bonny and Mary Read focuses on pure critical damage.
  • With a Francis Drake – Anne Bonny & Mary Read – Medusa team, have Medusa focus on stunning and gathering those critical stars. Francis Drake can help build up NP. Then, to exploit in terms of NP: Francis Drake (Voyager of the Storm) → Medusa (Monstrous Strength) → Medusa (Bellephron) →Anne Bonny and Mary Read (Carribean Free Bird) → Francis Drake (Golden Wild Hunt). Doing this allows players to exploit Francis Drake‘s overcharge effect for Golden Wild Hunt.
  • If it’s not dead yet, have Anne Bonny and Mary Read use a combination of Marksmanship and Combination. This should exploit the fact that you have at least 20++ C. Stars sitting in the wings. If using a Critical Hit CE, so much the better. It will probably tear off the remaining HP without any problems.

Tips

  • As the final boss for the One Book, One Pen, Nursery Rhyme packs a lot of damage. Similar to the above mentioned sub-boss only this time the boss has almost double the HP. Prepare additional Rider class servants at the back to deal with her should the team suffer casualties. Make sure she doesn’t charge up her NP or you’re going to suffer a ton of damage.
  • Players can opt for Medusa who focuses heavily on offense. Santa Alter isn’t a bad choice either as she also has Excalibur Morgan at Level 5. But if you want survival, Saint Martha and Marie Antoinette are good choices.
