This article will contain the directory to everything that is needed for the Nero Festival in Fate Grand Order [FGO]. We’ll continue to update this until the end of the event.
Nero Festival
Welcome to the Nero Festival! And thus, the Emperor of Roses has spoken.
From this day until August 3, Nero invites the players to participate in the glorious events of Rome. Emperor Nero has opened the coliseum for her beloved citizens to enjoy. In the coliseum, players will engage several servants in battle as a means to grasp for glory. For their name to sound off through the halls of Rome, this colossal event brings together powerful servants from all over the world to compete and live up to their legend.
Mechanics
- Event begins on July 25, 2017 (4:00 UTC) and ends on August 3, 2017 (3:59 UTC).
- The Nero Festival lasts for 9 days with there being 3 rounds. Each round is divided into 4 segments: Novice, Advanced, Intermediate, and Expert. Similar to the Daily Quests, they have an AP division: 5 (Novice), 10 (Intermediate), 20 (Advanced), 30 (Expert). Players can select this in the Chaldea Gate.
- As the player completes the battle, each battle will reward the player with different medals: bronze, silver, and gold. The higher the tier, the higher the chances of getting a gold medal.
- After earning the medals, players can exchange the medals for a variety of prizes in the shop. Some of the items are event-limited items such as the 5 star craft essence – Nightless Rose.
Event Items
Items available in this event are exchangeable only via medals. As much as possible, exchange the medals frequently. As of now, the Japanese version confirmed that the medals vanish after the event. Some materials can include Homunculus Baby, Meteor Horseshoe, and Forbidden Pages. These items do not drop yet which can hinder a servant’s ascension. Another item worth exchanging for is the 5 star craft essence – Nightless Rose which boosts a servant’s sustainability in battle.

Additional Events
- Along with the coliseum battles, players will now have an increased drop rate in terms of summoning. Nero Claudius (4 star SSR) will now have an increased summoning rate. This means that players will have a chance to summon the Emperor of Roses herself.
- Summoning rates for others will still apply.
- Using a 10x summon will guarantee the player one 4 star (SR) or above card and 1 guaranteed 3 Star (Rare) or above servant.
- The guaranteed summon will either be Craft Essence or Servant. Nightless Rose will not appear via summoning.
