Preparation

It is important to wear armor with high thunder resistance when taking on Fulgur Anjanath. Many of its elemental attacks deal massive damage and can take you out in a few hits. Slot in thunder resistance jewels in your armor and use the thunderproof mantle for even more thunder defense.

The vitality and temporal mantles grant you additional survivability. They are especially useful against Fulgur Anjanath as the monster frequently does follow-up strikes after knocking you down.

Bring nullberries to cure yourself of thunderblight. Anjanath’s thunder attacks and tendency to do follow-ups make it more capable of stunning you than most monsters. Using a stun charm III nullifies its effects and can be a great help to pull through the fight.

Fulgur Anjanath

Avoiding Fulgur Anjanath’s attacks should be a priority when up against it. Its extremely aggressive behavior gives you very little opportunity to strike. Most heavy weapons like the great sword, hammer, and switch axe will be limited to draw attacks, even when the monster is not enraged. You will only be able to press on the attack by knocking down Fulgur Anjanath or immobilizing it with traps.

Fulgur Anjanath Monster Guide

Stay mobile at all times. Do not hesitate to pull back and wait for an opening or until your palicoe draws the monster’s attention to itself.

Be on the defensive when Fulgur Anjanath is enraged. The monster’s large size is capable of clipping you at weird angles, similar to fighting its regular species. Wait until it calms down before fishing for chances to attack.
