Strategy
Preparation
When choosing weapons, look for one that deals thunder damage. If you haven’t done it yet, now is the best time to track down and forge Tobi Kadachi weapons.
Nergigante deals a hefty amount of damage, so you need to rely on armor that provides high defense. The pieces of High Rank Legiana armor are good to have in order to obtain the Divine Blessing skill. Have a Vitality Mantle ready for survivability.
Don’t forget to bring stacks of nutrients and max potions before heading out. A well-done steak is also great to have for extra stamina. In order to better prepare you for the upcoming fight, you need to fine-tune your stats. Make a pit stop at the canteen and consume a fish platter to boost your defense.
Nergigante
Head over to zone 9 to initiate the fight.
Pay attention to when Nergigante’s spikes come out since this signals its aerial dive. Avoid it at all costs or you’ll be instantly knocked out. To dodge it, you need to perform a superman dive. Watch out for its follow up which has a wide area of effect. When the spikes are gone, close in and strike its forelegs.
