Monster Hunter World: Iceborne - Final Beta Begins this Week

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is set for release on September 6th, 2019. With anticipation growing to a fever pitch, Capcom announces a final beta period for the game beginning this week of August 30th. This time, players will have a chance to face the elder dragon Velkhana, the awaited expansion’s flagship monster.

Playstation owners will be the first to access the demo, beginning August 30th (12:00 a.m. GMT-7) until September 1st (11:59 p.m. GMT-7). The beta will be available to Xbox One players on September 2nd (12:00 a.m. GMT-7) until September 4th (11:59 p.m. GMT-7).

Several quests released in the previous beta will also be playable during the period. These are Great Devourer, Great Jagras, The Big-horned Banbaro, and The Wild Tigrex. Players will receive commendation packs as rewards for clearing each of them, which can be claimed in the full version of the game.

New features will also be accessible in the beta along with those from the previous one. These include improved functionalities for the slinger, new weapon actions and combo mechanics, the raider ride mount, and view mode.
