Strategy
Wear a Fireproof Mantle
The fireproof mantle is one of your best bets for protecting against the Lunastra’s main source of damage as well as the ailment she inflicts.
Consume Cool Drinks
Lunastra emanates a scorching heat that fills the air and depletes the health of those without a cool drink. Don’t skip on using cool drinks to negate the residual damage later on.
Stop the Explosion
Her supernova covers a wider area of effect compared to her mate and she does this twice in succession. After sustaining the first blast, use an Astera Jerkey to hasten health recovery. You can interrupt her explosion by using a crystal burst or bomb before they catch fire.
Interrupt the Turf War
If you happen to catch her defending against either Nergigante or Kushala Daora, you can more comfortably pick her off.
