The Hammer is one of the fourteen weapon types the player can pick when hunting Monsters in Monster Hunter Rise. The weapon type benefits from its mobility, dealing blunt damage that also stuns monsters, and dealing hard hitting charge attacks compared to other weapon types.

Monster Hunter Rise - Hammer Hunter Silkbind Attack Impact CraterImpact Crater Impact Crater is one of the silkbind attack that come with the hammer. The attack involves a leap that charges for a powerful blow. As the hunter lands, other enemies that will be caught also suffer damage.
Monster Hunter Rise - Hammer Hunter Silkbind Attack Spinning BludgeonSpinning Bludgeon Silkbind Spinning Bludgeon is another hammer silkbind attack. The hunter spins around and causes several hits. Another way to use this attack is to charge it first. Keep charging and decide when to release the attack to make the most out of it.

Unlike its predecessor, the Spinning Bludgeon no longer requires the hunter to start from a slippery slope. The action became easier to use since the hunter can start even from a flat surface.

Monster Hunter Rise - Hammer Hunter Silkbind Attack Dash BreakerDash Breaker Can be switched out with Silkbind Spinning Bludgeon. A technique that involves the use of a wirebug to send the hunter charging into the monster. Incoming attacks won’t do any damage while the hunter is dashing.
