The Ultimate Edition for MH World Newbies
Capcom announced a new fully-fledged expansion for Monster Hunter: World a few months ago. Titled Iceborne, the story will take place in Hoarfrost Reach, a location covered in snow with an ecosystem not seen in the core game.
Along with the expansion’s announcement, Capcom also opened pre-orders for Iceborne’s Master Edition in North America. The Master Edition not only includes the Iceborne DLC, but the core game as well. This edition is perfect for new fans who want the complete MHW experience without buying the core game and expansion separately.
There is also a deluxe version of the Master Edition which includes a Deluxe Kit Code which has the following bonus items:
- Silver Knight layered armor set
- Three exclusive gestures
- Two sticker sets
- One face paint and hairstyle
- One room decor item
The CD and the Deluxe Kit Code are all inside a steelbook featuring artwork where Nergigante and Velkhana are fighting.
For Japan, there is a Collector’s Edition which has an artbook, an OST CD, an artbook, the Deluxe Kit Code, and a stunning 24 cm statue of Velkhana. Although North Americans won’t get this edition, they can buy the Velkhana statue through Capcom USA’s web store. The statue will be shipped with a voucher code for the game’s soundtrack.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne releases for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6, 2019.
