Famfrit, the Darkening Cloud represents the zodiac sign Aquarius. Initially, Famfrit is Dr. Cid’s Esper. When confronting Dr. Cid, he summons this Esper and becomes immune to all attacks. After defeating Dr. Cid on Pharos, the party gains the glyph to summon Famfrit as an Esper of their own. He represents the power of water.
Based on his name, Famfrit is the Kumbha ascendant, which is related to Hindu astrology.
