The Knight class, representing the zodiac Scorpio, wield Swords and Greatswords as their primary weapons. Unlike those under the Foebreaker class, they can keep up a consistent amount of damage especially when given the right buffs. They are also one of the few classes that can wield the Excalibur which is effective against undead monsters.

Unlike most melee classes, the Knight learns a variety of White Magic. This increases its sustainability in battle, especially against battles that require winning by attrition. Its Shield Blocks also increase its survivability in battle, making it a good “wall” to shield the stronger but “softer” job classes.

However, the Knight’s main disadvantage is their lack of speed. Because they have little means to deal with Flying creatures, they excel more in battling ground type monsters.

The best equipment to give a Knight class are the Germinas Boots, the Genji Gloves, or the Hermes Sandals.

As an Knight class, they have a variety of HP boosting augments that increase their survivability. However, they have all the levels for Battle Lore which bolsters their physical attack damage every increase in augment. They also have the valued Adrenaline ability which can turn the tides of a battle into your favour.

The Knight class has a balanced set of Technicks that allow them to vary in terms of strategy. Not only can they serve as a reserve healer but, they can also deal heavy damage due to their sustainability.
