Battle Strategy
Garuda is a new boss type. It flies instead of stands. This means you can only hit it with ranged weapons, spells, technicks, and the Knot of Rust.
You’ll fight Garuda at the entrance of the Tomb of Raithwall.
Urutan Eater Sidequest
To make it easier for you, head back to the Sandscale Bank area and talk to the moogle you find there. The Moogle will tell you about the Urutan Eater. This monster is found in Withering Shores.
Look back for the moogle and watch a cutscene to discover Eksir Berries. These will lessen Garuda’s health and lower its attack power.
In Battle
Use fire, thunder, water, and dark magick. Dark magick in particular deals double damage. Apart from using magicks, use Quickening chains as well. These can deal huge chunks of damage. Use Blind to hinder its attacks and thereby make it easier to survive.
