Battle Strategy
At the beginning of battle, the party should focus on attacking Vayne Novus. It is recommended to ignore and avoid the Sephira swords or let a berserked character or Gabranth attack them. Be sure to cast Dispel on Vayne to disable his buffs and make the fight considerably easier.
He is not immune to Oil, so use it on him before casting Firaga to deal heavy damage. Vayne will use powerful attacks such as Azure Vortice and Contempt at regular intervals, so conserve MP when you need to heal your party.
