Walkthrough

Obtain the Feather of the Flock

1. Finish Mob Hunt – Little Love on the Big Plains: Defeat Cluckatrice.
2. Head to Giza Plains during the dry season and talk to Dania and Terra.
3. Return to Giza Plains during the wet season.
4. Pass all the dead trees in the six places by the river
   • Northeast of Gizas North Bank
   • South of Throne Road
   • South of Nomad Village
   • Southeast of Tom Hills
   • Northeast of Starfall Field
   • North of Crystal Glade
5. Trek along the coast of the Giessous River to reach Tracks of the Beast.
6. Obtain Feather of the Flock found Southeast of Tracks of the Beast.
7. Return all Cockatrice and receive two High Ethers.

Finding Sassan

Reward: Koga Blade

Does not require the Feather of the Flock

1. Head to Dalmasca Estersand’s South Bank Village
2. Carry Nathyl across the river to North Bank Village
3. Return to South Bank Village without anyone on board
4. Carry Arryl across the river to North Bank Village
5. Return to South Bank Village without anyone on board
6. Carry Sassan across the river to North Bank Village
7. Follow Sassan, then talk to him to receive your reward.

Finding Shurry

Reward: Platinum Dagger

Requires Feather of the Flock

1. Speak to the Garif in Lull of the Land, Jahara.
2. Interact with Shurry.
3. When asked, tell him that “the bird comes from the Giza plains.”
4. Great Chief Uball-Ka will bestow Shurry with the Gift of the Great-Chief.
5. Deliver the Gift of the Great-Chief to receive your reward.

Finding Chit

Reward: Yoichi Bow

Does not require Feather of the Flock

1. Head to Fane of the Path at Eruyt Village.
2. Talk to Mjrn and pick up the Sakura Dewdrop Pebble.
3. Refer to the Eruyt Village map and find the eight Dewdrop Pebbles.
4. After collecting all eight, return to Fane of the Path and converse with Chit.
5. A Sparkling Light will fall from the feather’s gaps. Collect it.
6. Talk to Mjrn and deliver all the Dewdrop Pebbles.

Finding Mumer

Reward: Defender

Requires the Feather of the Flock

1. Continue toward the Sea Breeze Lane of Balfonheim port.
2. Talk to the Chocobo Wrangler near the pen and show him the Feather of the Flock.
3. Talk to the Miffed Moogle.
4. Finally, talk to the Gurdi to claim your reward.

Finding Agytha

Reward: Tumulus

Does not require the Feather of the Flock

1. Head to the Grand Arcade in Archades’ Central section.
2. Interact with Cockatrice.
3. You must obtain a Sandalwood Chop to enter the site blocked by the docent.
4. Talk to the male cockatrice in the Alley of Low Whispers in Old Arcadia.
5. Return to Agytha in the Grand Arcade and tell her the whereabouts

Finding Ren

Reward: Deathbringer

Does not require the Feather of the Flock

1. Proceed to the North End of Rabanastre.
2. Talk to Ren.
3. Ren will flee, you must track him down by hiding behind the pillars.

*_{Approach Ren’s side and mash ◯ as you did with Agytha.}

5. At Fane of the Path of Eltri, take Chi back to Giza Plains.
6. After fulfilling the above-mentioned requirements, tell Ren “Erm… no?” and he will return to Giza.
