Curse of Death Details
|
Curse of Death’s Unique Passive feels like a reminder to players to never blindly follow a preset item build: it’s extremely strong in very specific situations and nearly worthless in others. Against a Taara, for instance, constant auto-attacks could easily deny 3000+ HP of healing from Steeled Focus. Keep in mind that Soul Prison works against all regenerative effects, so if your marksman counterpart has been stacking life steal items (or if the tank has equipped Gaia’s Standard or Crimson Banner), Curse of Death can stop them in their tracks. Without a good reason to buy it, however, Curse of Death is a less effective, more expensive version of The Beast.
Recommended Heroes and/or Situation:
Equip when facing Taara, Peura, Lu Bu, Kil’groth, or another hero whose kit revolves around healing and self-sustain. Check to see if the enemy team has multiple heroes with the Heal talent or if they’ve been stacking items with regenerative effects. Though this item is generally for marksmen and assassins, it can be powerful when used by other classes as well (just check that your allies haven’t already equipped it).

Does this item also counter Arcana such as Benevolence?
Yes. Life steal, healing, and natural regen are all reduced.
So any damage done to the enemy will trigger the passive? Also, does the 3 sec increase stack can reset if I normal attack my enemy a bunch of times? And lastly, does using abilities like Murad’s Tempo Turbo can stack up the stacks or do I need a normal attack to trigger the passive again? Edit: Also it would be a PAIN IN THE ARSE for the enemies if I mix Curse of Death & Fenniks Tooth (yeah I purposely said that), although it would be a sacrifice for my atk spd though.
Generally yes. It gives Murad some more leeway when setting up an attack if needing to wait for a perfect opportunity
So does it mean that I need to auto-attack so I can extend the passive, or his other abilities could do the same? Or I still need to auto-attack to extend it?
Physical abilities will apply the effect as well.
Cara counter nya?
How does Curse of Death interact with Max’s hp regen denial passive?
It stacks! Also, we found that like with Spear of Longinus, Max’s Ult causes Curse of Death’s passive to affect all members of the opposing team.
