Florentino Item Builds
Core Items
These items are necessary in order to play Florentino optimally. Only diverge from a core item if you are a very experienced player or you have a very good reason for doing so
Mantle of Ra |
Mantle of Ra provides Florentino with good survivability and defensive stats. This is especially beneficial for him during the laning phase, as it allows him to stick in the lane longer and rack up more experience and gold. |
Omni Arms give Florentino some added damage to go with his already menacing kit. Omni Arms’ passive combined with Lunge or Triple Threat significantly increases Florentino’s damage output against his targets. |
Optional Items
Offensive Item Choices
Rankbreaker gives Florentino additional armor pierce along with some bonus movement speed. As an assassin, the aforementioned bonuses are very welcome, especially in the early to mid-game. | |
Spear of Longinus grants Florentino some tankiness along with the ability to shred his target’s armor. This can be swapped for Rankbreaker and vice versa, since Spear of Longinus is more of a defensive variant of Rankbreaker. | |
Muramasa is the go-to tank shredder item for AD heroes. But usually, this item is best in the late game. If you have no more idea what offensive item you can get Florentino, you can get your money’s worth by getting Muramasa. |
Defensive Items Choices
Mail of Pain is a situational item for Florentino. This is especially effective against a teams who primarily deal physical damage. During duels against such physical damage dealers, Mail of Pain does wonders on the defensive end. | |
If you feel that you want more cooldown and defensive stats against pesky mages, this should be your item of choice. Medallion of Troy grants you more coverage against magic damage than any other item, allowing you to survive whenever you decide to dive into the enemy casters. |
Boots Upgrade
Gilded Greaves |
Gilded Greaves is the most common choice when looking for boots. The additional resistance it provides help him survive magic damage and any control effects. |
Hermes’ Select | More offensive-minded Florentino players can opt to use Hermes’ Select, thanks to the additional movement speed it gives him. However, this makes Florentino a bit squishier and more susceptible to getting locked down with stuns from enemy heroes. |
Sample Item Builds
Soulreaver | Gilded Greaves | Mantle of Ra | Omni Arms | Fenrir’s Tooth | Blade of Eternity |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
This build balances burst damage and sustainability when he jungles. Since Florentino’s mechanics center around dealing multiple blows through normal strikes or lunges, Soulreaver and Omni Arms provides a consistent amount of attack damage, cooldown, and lifesteal when he deals with enemies 1-on-1. He becomes even more deadly when he has Fenrir’s Tooth, allowing the Gentle Blade to burst down marksmen and mages even quicker. Survivability is brought by his Gilded Greaves and Mantle of Ra items in cases that he has to engage in team fights. We have to give credit for AHQ Rush for introducing this Jungle build!
Mantle of Ra | Gilded Greaves | Rankbreaker | Omni Arms | Gaia’s Standard | Blade of Eternity |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
This build prioritizes Florentino’s survivability early game with Mantle of Ra and Gilded Greaves. Both items help the Gentle Blade withstand early game engagements and crowd control from such enemies like Riktor, Amily, or Valhein. Rankbreaker and Omni Arms provide armor pierce, movement speed, attack speed, lifesteal, and cooldown reductions making him a potent bruiser against tanks and ganking junglers. Gaia’s Standard sustains him when he’s engaging in team fights while taking damage. In addition, the 5% movement speed is really helpful for Florentino to pick off the back line targets such as marksmen or mages. Muramasa can be used as a replacement for Rankbreaker when dealing with tank heavy opposing teams late game. Medallion of Troy can be used as a substitute for mage heavy compositions. We are giving credit to IT.City Bacon and Doyser for introducing this build!

I completely disagree with Mantle of Ra and Omniarms being core items; No way. Fenrir Talon and Claves Sancti are core items. Rankbreaker, Muramasa and Spear of Longinus is a huge waste of item slot and gold, since Florentino’s main damage source deals true damage.
I would not build Mail of Pain nor Medalion of Glory either. For situational defensive items id go with Mantle of Ra, The Aegis, cape of frost or Hercules Madness.
For jungle I do:
Soul Reaver, Hermes Select, Claves Sancti, Omniarms, Fenrir’s Tooth, Hercules Madness.
As DS Lane:
Mantle of Ra, Gilded Boots, Claves Sancti, Omniarms, The Aegis, Fenrir’s Tooth.
Forget armor penetration in this character he does absolutely not need it unless you play him very badly.
DS Florentino Build:
Mantle of Ra
Gilded Greaves
The Beast
Frost Cape
Fenrir’s Tooth
Blade of Eternity
Be warned that this somewhat aggressive build is for people who already familiar with Florentino’s kit and assume that you know what you and your opponents capable of. Mantle and Gilded are pretty obvious choice here, the reason why my build have no armor penetration is because
1) You will use your Triple Threat constantly which is true damage and scale with attack damage, so Florentino will need as much AD as possible.
2) This is why i include Beast because one, Beast is very cheap for a +100 AD item (thus an easy 1,4% max HP true damage); two, beast additional lifesteal mean you will heal even more with your enhanced auto when you pick the flowers and allowing sustain outside of team fight (Mantle’s aura also heal you for a bit). Fenrir gives +200 AD mean addtional 2,8% max HP true damage and even more true damage when they’re low HP.
With Beast sustain, use Frost’s Cape to have some tankiness, as for Blade of Eternity, you can pretty much buy anything you see that fit with the situation but Eternity is a solid final item choice.
