Batman, the Dark Knight, is a hero capable of sneaking and surprise attacks. He is the fifth assassin class hero to be released on the AoV Valiant server.

Arena of Valor Valiant Server Teases Batman, the Dark Knight

The Dark Knight will soon be joining the assembly of heroes in Arena of Valor (AoV). Batman was strongly hinted in Arena of Valor PH last Saturday, November 4 in time for the Justice League film next week. The DC comic icon will soon be playable on the Arena of Valor Valiant Server, which serves SEA regions Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines.

As an Assassin-class hero, Batman’s playstyle requires players to do a lot sneaking and surprise attacks. His passive ability allows him to march towards opposing heroes with increased movement speed and finish them off. Batman players will mostly stay within the jungle or bushes to jump in and out against enemy heroes.

Batman’s ability set includes one passive ability and three active abilities:

Caped Crusader (Passive) – When Batman approaches an enemy hero, his Mov. Speed increases by 20%.

Forearm Strike (1st Ability) – Batman uses his forearm blades to attack and causes Phys. DMG to nearby enemies. One random enemy will take double DMG.

Batarang (2nd Ability) – Shoot an explosive Batarang causing Phys. DMG to enemies and reducing their Mov. Speed. Three seconds later, a % of lost HP will be converted into additional Phys. DMG. If Batman hits a target that has already been hit, he will stun that target and recover HP.

Dark Knight (Ultimate) – Batman uses a flock of bats to conceal himself and becomes invisible after 1.5 sec. This state will then last for 30 sec. The Invisibility state will be lost if Batman stays within 6m of an enemy for more than 3 sec. If the ability is used again during this period, he will fly towards the target direction, dealing physical damage to enemies in its path. After the Invisibility state has disappeared, his attack speed will increase by 50% for 5 sec.

“Keep to the shadows!” – Batman

Playing as Batman requires players to be reserved for their ability shots. He is best when used as an initiator, ganker, or carry-type hero. While most Assassin-class heroes require the player to spam a number of abilities to burst damage their enemies to death, Batman doesn’t. His second ability, Batarang, might be enough to take down enemies, especially those with low health. Taking advantage of his passive, Caped Crusader, he can run down enemies and follow up with his 2nd and 1st active abilities. Players can also use his ultimate to initiate surprise strikes to his enemies in the lane. It can also be used as a way to slip out of clashes when Batman cannot handle those heroes.
