Wukong, The Monkey King, is a hero capable of burst damage, ganking and trickery. He is the 15th warrior-class hero coming to AoV Valiant server (SEA).

The monkey king, Wukong, will be the 10th upcoming hero following the release of Fennik last week in Arena of Valor Valiant server (SEA). This nimble warrior-assassin features heavy attack damage and strong ganking potential throughout the game.

Here is an overview of Wukong’s in game ability set:

God of War (Passive) – Each time Wukong uses an ability, his next normal attack is enhanced and deals an additional 240 +233 physical damage. Wukong also tumbles toward the target. Wukong’s staff grants 10% critical chance permanently.

Shadow Clone (1st ability) – Wukong temporarily disappears and gains 40% movement speed for 1 second.

Great Sage (2nd ability) – Wukong tumbles towards the specified direction, gaining 100 armor and magic defense for 3 seconds.

Monkey Business (Ultimate ability) – Wukong unleashes the inner Chi, knocking nearby enemies into the air, dealing 150 +83 physical damage and stunning them for 1 second.

Wukong can be used as a jungler or ganker in game. As a jungler, his passive boosts his attack damage whenever he uses his abilities against jungle monsters or enemy minions. When it comes to ganking, his leap ability grants him additional defense to get an early lead on his prey. He can follow this up with his passive to leap a second time, covering a lot of distance. His ultimate ability, Monkey Business, is strong enough by itself to finish opposing heroes in the early game. The additional leaping passive also prevents escape for his enemies.
