Lauriel Item Builds
Core Items
These items are necessary in order to play Lauriel optimally. Only diverge from a core item if you are experienced with the hero or have a very good reason for doing so.
Orb of the Magi | Orb of the Magi provides Lauriel with valuable HP, ability power, cooldown reduction, and mana restoration. This is all she needs in life, allowing her to spam out her abilities and withstand enemy fire long enough to regenerate her health. |
Rhea’s Blessing | Rhea’s Blessing goes along with Lauriel’s Divine Punishment, allowing her some nice regeneration as she casts her abilities. The item additionally provides a shield when the user’s health falls below 40%, allowing her a bit of additional time to regain some health or finish the fight. |
The Aegis | The Aegis is an excellent defensive pick for Lauriel since she is usually a high priority target. Whenever hit by an opponent’s attack, this item slows down their movement and attack speeds. The Aegis additionally offers a massive amount of cooldown reduction and some mana to boot, making it a very valuable item for the mage. |
Optional Items
Hecate’s Diadem | Hecate’s Diadem bolsters Lauriel’s overall damage with its ability power. It additionally increases the amount of ability power she gains from all other sources, making it even more valuable when stacking mage items. |
Frosty’s Revenge | Frosty’s Revenge is nice choice both for the stats and utility that it provides. The item slows enemies hit by the wielder7s abilities, trapping them within her influence. The item additionally helps the angel with her abysmal movement speed as well as offering a bit of extra health. |
Needing cooldown reduction and durability, Lauriel is well suited to hold the Medallion of Troy. It will give her lot of survivability with regard to other mages both through the stats and magic shield that it offers. | |
While not offering any flashy effects, Holy of Holies is a powerhouse of ability power and health. The item is a great way to finish off builds, offering an immense amount of raw damage and survivability for the cost. |
Boots Upgrade
Gilded Greaves | Gilded Greaves allows Lauriel to recover more quickly after hit with a disable. This is rather vital to her, as her survivability is directly tied to her ability to keep casting her abilities. |
Enchanted Kicks | If the enemy is heavy up on physical damage, Sonic Boots can be a better choice than Gilded Greaves. This is especially the case if an enemy marksman or normal attacker is snowballing, as the boots grant damage reduction to normal attacks along with the armor that they provide. |
Sample Item Builds
Lauriel’s builds aren’t incredibly varied due to just how necessary her core items are and how specific their purchase order generally is. Here we put a damage focused spin on the end of the build, granting disgusting amounts of ability power with the Hecate’s Diadem and Holy of Holies combo. If a player has 10% CDR coming in from Arcana, Orb of the Magi should be sold late game in order to pick up a second Holy of Holies for even more damaging potential.
Orb of the Magi | Gilded Greaves | The Aegis | Rhea’s Blessing | Gaia’s Standard | Amulet of Longevity |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
This is a much more defensively focused build, particularly when it comes to regeneration. Gaia’s Standard will offer the angel and additional source of regeneration through its passive while Amulet of Longevity will amp up all the regeneration that Lauriel receives. Be wary, though, as such obvious abuse of regeneration effects could coax an enemy into buying a countering Curse of Death or Tome of the Reaper.
Orb of the Magi | Gilded Greaves | The Aegis | Rhea’s Blessing | Frosty’s Revenge | Amulet of Longevity |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Another more durability leaning take after her standard four items. Lauriel will be able to more thoroughly corral her opponents with the additional slow of Frosty’s Revenge and able to heal up even more health through the bonus that Amulet of Longevity provides.

Does frost cape proc on her second ability? & does apocalypse?
I feel like she’s best all AP with Beriths Agony for armor. But lately when I’ve played her, the magical lifesteal felt like it wasn’t working (very little regen) even though I had a ton of AP stacked. I got more healing from the devour enchantment.
“If a player has 10% CDR coming in”
Your arcana suggestion is attack speed & magic pierce, so how/why would one have CDR?
Descripction of “full tank” doesn´t match the pictures.
Thanks for that. Made it better reflect the build
Is there any assassin build for Lauriel? Because as the game says she’s a mage/assassin.
She’s an assassin bcos she can chase and kill backline enemies better than most mages

Err.. Why does the Full Tank build mention Lindis when this page is about Lauriel?
So it did! Sorry, it was a typo due to doing all the L-name pages in a row. The build is correct.
Erm.. Your Full Tank build mentions Lindis instead of Lauriel.. Is this build wrong?
