Core Items

These items are necessary in order to play Nakroth optimally. Only diverge from a core item if you are a very experienced player or you have a very good reason for doing so.

Leviathan
 Benefitting from both raw damage or attack speed, Nakroth can do well with either Soulreaver or Scorching Wind. Soulreaver will make each attack hit harder while Scorching Wind will all him to benefit more from his passive and on-hit effects.

Alternatively, players might opt to try and overcome Nakroth’s paper thin skin with Leviathan, granting the assassin a bit of additional health and armor.
Arena of Valor Spear of Longinus
Spear of Longinus		 Spear of Longinus provides decent offensive and defensive stats while also making tanks easier to deal with. Nakroth’s high attack speed will make him a prime candidate for this item, allowing him to tear away enemy armor at a rather fast pace.
Arena of Valor Frost cape
Frost Cape		 Nakroth’s multicast Jury Fury makes items like Frost Cape and Omni Arms very powerful on him. Frost Cape is generally a preferable choice to Omni Arms, giving the assassin a bit of additional survivability and a way to stick to his prey. Omni Arms is by no means a bad choice, however, and can be taken over Frost Cape if going purely for damage. NEVER TAKE BOTH.

Optional Items

Arena of Valor Muramasa
Muramasa		 Muramasa is your answer to when enemies are stacking armor and the 250 from Spear of Longinus just isn’t cutting it. With its percentage based armor pierce, even the thickest of shells will crack under Nakroth’s assault.
Arena of Valor Omni Arms
Omni Arms		 Omni Arms will activate regularly with how frequently Nakroth can use abilities. It additionally provides a large number of beneficial stats, improving the assassin’s overall lethality. Again though, never take Omni Arms and Frost Cape together.
Arena of Valor Fafnir's Talon
Fafnir’s Talon		 Fafnir’s Talon tears away a percentage of the target’s health each time the wielder attacks normally. This is very powerful on high speed attackers like Nakroth who will be able to take percentages of the enemy’s health away at a very fast rate.
Arena of Valor Fenrir's Tooth
Fenrir’s Tooth		 Fenrir’s Tooth grants a huge amount of attack damage and greatly increases the wielder’s finishing potential. The passive will help Nakroth finish off low health enemies so that he can sweep back to a safe position.
Arena of Valor Ancestral Glory
Ancestral Glory		 Ancestral Glory helps with Nakroth’s abysmal survivability by giving him a second chance when burst down. While not the best value when it comes to stats, the revival it offers will allow Nakroth to pursue enemies more aggressively and have a bit more impact in the late game.

Boots Upgrades

Arena of Valor Gilded Greaves
Gilded Greaves		 Mobile heroes like Nakroth are completely shut down when stunned or slowed. Gilded Greaves, therefore, is a great choice for him as they will help him escape enemy traps.
Arena of Valor Sonic BootsSonic Boots
 When facing teams with large amounts of physical damage, Sonic Boots can help protect Nakroth from their attacks. While not necessarily a tanky jungler like Zephys or Butterfly, Nakroth can benefit a lot from a bit of survivability.
Arena of Valor Sonic BootsSonic Boots
 War Boots is Nakroth’s offensive option when it comes to boots. The attack speed it offers is perfect for the assassin’s fast attacking style, allowing him to more frequently proc his passive and afflict the enemy with on-hit effects.

Sample Item Builds

All of our build focus around balancing Nakroth around one of three different jungling items. Here we go with Soulreaver, one of the most popular choices for the assassin. Given the large amounts of damage that it offers, he can spend his other item slots building up some additional survivability or attack speed. Attack speed comes primarily from Fafnir’s Talon, its passive meshing well with Nakroth’s natural attack speed. Frost Cape and Death Sickle are his main sources of survivability here, outside of the natural armor provided by Spear of Longinus. Death Sickle in particular is good on a high mobility hero like Nakroth who can use the invincibility frames that it provides to get to safety.

Given that Leviathan provides defensive stats rather than offensive, Nakroth is able to focus on more offensive items in this build. Frost Cape has been replaced with Omni Arms due to the hefty damage and stats that it offers. The trend of offensive items continues with Muramasa and Fenrir’s Tooth, offering purely offensive boosts to the assassin. He will be able to hit like a truck with this arsenal, the defensive boosts of Leviathan and Spear of Longinus keeping him from getting too squishy.

Scorching Wind can also be a good choice for the quick Nakroth. The added attack speed will ensure more frequent usage of his passive. Spear of Longinus and Fafnir’s Talon are natural choices here, they also benefit from an increased attack speed. To avoid becoming too squishy, we round the build off with Hercules’ Madness. The shield and health that it offers in sticky situations will help Nakroth either finish off his foe or disengage.

  4. Full AD build is being used by Dark breaker and Vex. Arcana differs but:
    Soul Reaver
    Gilded Greaves
    Rank Breaker
    Omni Arms
    Fenrir’s tooth
    Blade of Rez

    Focus on damage here and ignore armor.

    Leviathan.war boots.mantle of ra.fafnir talon.medalion of troy and rank breaker

    -strong (physical and magic def)
    -have burn damge
    -cooldown reduction can you get from blue buff
    -have high damge on hit damage
    -have attack speed
    -arcana can you give crit chance and armor pierce

  6. Nakroth Defensive build :
    Leviathan, Gilded Greaves, Mantle of Ra, Rankbreaker, Omni Arms, Medallion of Troy
    Basically this build allows Nakroth to stop dying in team fights if he is
    caught by CC, this build is reccomended for new Nakroth players since it provides decent amounts of defense and a lot of HP, so players who are not so skilled with him can survive yet still deal good damage not only through abilities also and normal attacks, also through the double burn on this item build
