Amily Item Builds
Core Items
These items are necessary in order to play Amily optimally. Only diverge from a core item if you are a very experienced player or you have a very good reason for doing so
Every aspect of Rankbreaker synergizes tremendously well with Amily’s kit. The 110 attack damage, second most among attack items, boosts Duel, Kickblade, and Combo, not to mention her normal attacks. The pierce helps cut through enemies, especially considering all of Amily’s kit is built around physical damage and her primary targets will be squishy (in other words, they won’t build much armor so raw armor pierce is better than percentage-based armor pierce). Finally, Windwalk not only adds to Amily’s ability to dart between lanes, it multiplies it because Amily’s Combo passive affects base movement speed. An Amily at level 11 with level 2 boots, Rankbreaker, and no movement speed-boosting Arcana moves at an astonishing 506 units per second when out of battle. | |
Though Fenrir’s Tooth is typically purchased toward the end of a build – and most “core” items should be secured in the first 3-4 items – it’s such a valuable item for Amily that you’re going to want to get it at some point, no matter how defensively you’re otherwise building. The 200 attack damage is just too vital, particularly when it comes to Amily’s Duel passive. And because Amily can’t stay in fights for too long, she’s going to need the additional 30% damage to low-health targets to finish them off before she gets burst down first. |
Optional Items
Offensive Item Choices
Soulreaver |
Though the one recommended jungle build in the game says Leviathan, we strongly recommend going with Soulreaver. Jungle Amily relies heavily on the ability to pick off heroes early and snowball the game, so she needs the extra damage to finish them off. The CDR is vital as well, as Amily needs to dart in and out of fights – in fact, the extra use of her abilities will likely keep her alive longer than the defensive stats of Leviathan. |
The attack speed, life steal, and max HP aren’t crucial, but they aren’t worthless either. What you get Omni Arms for, in Amily’s case, is the combination of damage, CDR, and the Elemental Power passive. Building Omni Arms means not building Frost Cape (for those unaware, you lose Frost Cape’s passive for Omni Arms when you get both, and you only get Frost Cape for the passive), which means you’re building heavily toward attack, which means Elemental Power should be hitting pretty hard. | |
Like we mentioned in her guide page, Amily’s Duel passive is counted as part of her base damage, which means it multiplies on critical hits. You could go crazy and build Claves Sancti and Slikk’s Sting, but we recommend just Claves because it provides the attack damage that Amily needs. Hitting just one enhanced critical can completely swing a fight, so Claves is for you if you’re the gambling type. | |
Because enhanced normal attacks count for two stacks of Shatter, Amily can get to the maximum 5 stacks with one use of Combo (4 stacks) and Kickblade. The issue is that the decreased armor applies afterward, so you’ll miss out on some damage while you’re building stacks. That said, a Combo on multiple heroes can be huge for your team, and the 15% CDR sure is juicy. |
Defensive Items Choices
A high priority pick when playing as a solo-laner, Mantle of Ra helps Amily clear the minion wave quickly so she can rotate to the rest of her team – or just kill the opposing solo laner who is now vulnerable to her Duel passive. Though it doesn’t provide any CDR, Mantle of Ra is otherwise a premiere hybrid item, providing excellent offense and defense in one package. | |
Frost Cape fits the bill of providing more CDR for Amily, while giving her a bit more CC to chase down and kill her enemies. Just be aware that Frost Cape lacks in stats, so make sure you make good use of the Elemental Power passive. | |
Though a defensive item, Blade of Eternity goes best with an offensive build to take advantage of the 10% damage increase. With enough attack damage, Blade of Eternity provides as much damage as your standard attack item, all while boosting armor and resurrecting you from death. | |
Amily wants to get in and out before she can be burst down – plus she has a heal in Kickblade if you decide to build her to last – so Medallion of Troy is the pick over Gaia’s Standard when magic defense is required. The CDR is yet another reason for Amily to purchase Medallion of Troy, as she wants to get as close to 40% as possible. | |
The Aegis doesn’t provide any hybrid-offensive stats like the rest of the armor items here, but it can almost single-handedly solve Amily’s defensive needs while giving her that delicious 20% CDR. As such, purchasing The Aegis can free up the rest of Amily’s build for more offensive items while alleviating the immediate need for CDR items that can have otherwise inefficient stats. |
Boots Upgrade
Gilded Greaves is easily our recommendation for Amily’s boots upgrade. Given her play style, it’s imperative that Amily have the ability to get off her abilities and attacks, lest she be stun-locked to death. | |
If your build doesn’t have CDR and you like to live dangerously, the 15% CDR could be for you. Just don’t blame us when you’re stunned for a million years. | |
Again, Amily getting stun-locked is a real concern, but there’s some merit here: at level 11, with Hermes’ Select, Rankbreaker, and 10 Assassinate Arcana, Amily will be moving between lanes at 624 units per second. That’s literally double many mages’ base movement speed – good luck running away from that. |
Sample Item Builds
Soulreaver | Gilded Greaves | Rankbreaker | Omni Arms | Fenrir’s Tooth | Blade of Eternity |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Since Amily doesn’t have the greatest sustain anyway, we decide to focus this build on killing the opponent before they can kill us. Soulreaver and Omni Arms bring the CDR to 25%, while Rankbreaker not only helps pierce through the opposing armor but the passive synergizes with the Combo passive, making her Batman-like roaming around the map. Fenrir’s Tooth synergizes with Amily’s passive, bursting down unsuspecting enemies. At the end of the game, Blade of Eternity’s 10% damage increase will pay huge dividends, while the revive passive can either allow Amily to escape or finish the job.
Mantle of Ra | Gilded Greaves | Rankbreaker | The Aegis | Medallion of Troy | Fenrir’s Tooth |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
If you’re going to be in the lane, it helps to clear up the minions so that there’s nothing standing between you and the opposing solo laner. Mantle of Ra helps with that, and Rankbreaker helps you clean up your opponent and/or rotate to your team once you can buy it. At that point, you’ll be in dire need of CDR and – since we can’t snowball the game as hard from a solo lane – some defense. The Aegis handles both calls, but if you’re against a heavy amount of magic damage, then go ahead and build Medallion of Troy first. We finish with Fenrir’s Tooth so that Amily can have some impact in the late game. If things go super late, swap out Rankbreaker for Muramasa.
If you feel like you’re getting blown up too easily, you can start building some defense from the fourth item, starting with Frost Cape to keep enemies within your grasp. Add on Medallion of Troy, and it should be much more difficult to take Amily down – plus you’ll have 35% CDR to boot. In the final slot, we pick up another hybrid item that also provides a panic shield when things get dicey. Fenrir’s Tooth and Blade of Eternity are also options here, though the damage on Blade of Eternity will be lessened given the build.

Gilded Greaves/War Boots
Fenrir’s Tooth
Sheild of the Lost
Omni Arms
Claves Sancti
Ranbreaker
Basiclly this build is to flicker pass the tanks and nuke the enemies carry. It deals massive dammage to the back lane and has enough survibillity to survive the tanks.Use Greaves if the enemy has stun lock heroes, if not then use War Boots to make early game easier. For Arcana I suggest crit chance health and movement.
Leviathan
Ranbreaker
Claves Sancti
Omni arms
Fenrirs Tooth
Devil’s handshake
–
Don’t even build boots, use ms arcana, wait in bush for the team to engage or counter engage and then go postal.
Name – Sheesh Kebbab
Rankbreaker
Glided Greaves/ Hermes
Claves Sancti
Omni arms
Fenrir Tooth
Blade of eternity
I really like sikks sting on her. More than Cleaves Sancti…
My jungle build is as follows:
-Leviathan
-I build Gilded Grieves (second)
-Ranbreaker
-I rush Sikks Sting ((with gilded grieves sikks sting passive gives her a whopping 70% resistance to stuns))
-Fenrir’s Tooth
-Omni Arms last because blade of eternity tends to be bad for my style as I usually go into 1vs1 or 1vs3 alone and resurrection doesn’t help.
Lastly, because I use movespeed arcana – if their mage is very behind I build Cleaves Sancti (sell boots). Or oracle (sell boots) depending on the enemy mage.
Arcana:
-10 red rampage
-10 purple Guerilla
-10 flurry
Flurry is a great arcana (odd choice I know) but her ult is magical damage and so is the burn passive on Leviathan. You’ll be surprised to see how much flurry boosts these damages.
Enchantment wise I use red Devil’s awakening the additional damage after movement ability and the added AD – –
with the secondary enchantment being the yellow, providing cooldwn reduction on her ultimate and magical/armor pierce per level.
I suggest using full crit chance arcana on the red. With claves sancti it’ll help you deal 3000+ damage more often
Here’s my simple “Pure Destruction” build:
– Mantle of Ra
– Guilded Greaves
– Rankbreaker
– Omni Arms
– Claves Sancti
– Fenrir’s Tooth
Explanation:
Mantle of Ra is always a good choice for melee solo-laners as the burn damage it provides clears minion waves quickly and some armor is always good to have. Next in the build is Guilded Greaves but you could get it first if against a mage, such as Marja. The control resistance is super helpful as Amily. God forbid you get some boots other than this, don’t blame me if you’re stunned and killed before you can make use of your ult. And get reported for feeding. Anyway, Rankbreaker lets you get a pretty good damage boost and the passive works with yours, letting you rotate quickly. Now here, you have two choices. You can either buy Omni Arms if the game is even or you’re ahead OR you can choose to buy Frost Cape to become a bit of a “Bruiser” build if your team is falling behind. The armor and especially the slow it provides helps Amily a great deal because it allows her to survive longer in a fight and be able to stay close to her enemies. More experienced players could still get Omni Arms if their team is behind so you can get those kills! The critical chance and damage from Claves Sancti are just too good to pass up sometimes because paired with Fenrir’s (passive), your ulti, and your own passive, you can ultimately destroy people with some whopping 4,500+ hits. With my build, she is not a force to be reckoned with. Seriously, even when you’re outnumbered in high rank, no one wants to go near you.
Brawler build
Mantle of Ra defense and clears lane good for continous damage during hit cd
Guilded greaves reduction for ctrol effects
Fenrirs tooth heavy damage
Devils handshake continuous attacks to tie wih combo reduced cd
Aegis best cdr defense
Necklace of longevity maximizes heal effects
How do you feel about Odin’s Will and Gaia’s Standard with Amily? I tend to favor them over, respectively, Frost Cape and Medallion of Troy in comps where the other sidelaner and support are both substantially tanky, e.g. Cresht and Mina.
With Rainbreaker, Hermes’ Select, Odin’s Will, Gaia’s Standard, The Aegis, and Fenrir’s Tooth/Muramasa, the Amphetamine Assassin build, Amily can play like a speed demon and impact macro hugely at all stages of the game, and survive long enough in team fights and do enough damage in duels to more than suffice.
I think that the items can be very good on her given her kit and so swapping them in is fine. I personally would only give up Frost Cape for Omni Arms, as I find that the synergy with Combo is too good to pass up on.
I run a pure damage build for laning which I call Miss 2-tap because it focuses on making Amily’s enhanced attack (Skill 2) hit as hard as possible.
Basic Boots (full build if against Marja) > Rankbreaker > Gilded Greaves > Omni Arms > Claves Sancti > Fenrir’s Tooth > Blade of Eternity.
Omni Arms is built 2nd item because it gives a reliable burst of damage on her S2. I like to build Claves Sancti 3rd item because, once again, it boosts her S2. However, some may prefer to build a defensive item or Fenrir’s tooth in place of it.
Gilded reaves if enemy has 2 mages or else sonic boots> Rankbreaker> Frost crape> fenrir’s tooth> Medalion of Troy> Muramasa if more pierce is needed or Claves sancti to finish enemy in few blows.
