Arena of Valor (AoV) - Our MSP (SEA) Wishlist: Heroes We’d Like to Have on the Server

Garena recently announced in their Facebook post that they will be releasing four new heroes in April alone for the Valiant Server! It seems that Garena wants to keep up with other server like NA and EU since we are behind in terms of updates and heroes.

Garena recently announced in their Facebook post that they will be releasing four new heroes in July alone for the MSP Server! It seems that Garena wants to catch up with other servers like NA and EU since they are quite behind in terms of heroes. With this, we look at the heroes that we might see (or at least want to see) in the month of July. With half of the Samurai Gamers’ team based in the Philippines, and many of us started on the MSP server due to its earlier release than NA or Asia servers. As a result, we would love to see the MSP server catch up with the rest of the world and succeed.

Do take note that this list is not an announcement of who is coming in July. Instead, it’s a list of heroes that we want to see added next to the MSP (SEA) server.

Wonder Woman

AoV Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman is an extremely hardy hero who is able to dish out large amounts of damage, take enemy fire, and control targets in equal measure. The Amazonian warrior has become rather popular in servers where she is available, having seen a large amount of play in the recent NA and EU Valor Series playoffs. Wonder Woman’s addition to the game would allow for MSP players to practice the roaming meta that has become popular in high-level play much more naturally.

Omen

Arena of Valor's Omen

As a direct counter to Superman, Omen will be a very welcome addition to the MSP server.

The Insatiable has a number of ways of controlling opponents, the most notable of these being his ultimate which traps the target in a small arena. He additionally is a strong duelist and split pusher, able to dole out large amounts of damage to single targets and thereby quickly knock down towers.

Wisp

Arena of Valor's Wisp

Marksmen have fallen out of favor in competitive play due to their low survivability and the time that it takes for them to build up to their power spike. Wisp avoids some of this by attacking from an immense range. Her ultimate, Shock and Awe, has a nearly unrivaled range and allows the small girl to siege areas from a comfortable distance.

The Flash

Arena of Valor's The Flash

The most recent hero to Arena of Valor’s DC roster is none other than The Flash. The Flash is a mage/assassin who is naturally very mobile and has a lot of burst damage at his disposal. He is currently favored as one of the most effective mages in the game, even able to reach the same regard as game favorites Tulen and Liliana.

Special Mentions

Aside from the heroes listed above, Rourke, Arum, and Marja are also possibilities. Rourke is a durable warrior/marksman capable of dealing large chunks of burst damage with his spread shot. He is most effective when bursting down enemy heroes in one-on-one situations.

Arum is a tank capable of invading the enemy jungle at level 1 due to her unique kit. She also has a ton of sustain, especially when facing large groups of enemy heroes.

Marja was just released on the EU and NA server last week. A mage/tank, Marja has a ton of sustain as well as an ability to easily chase escaping opponents.
