Passive Ability Effect
Arena of Valor DIVINE PUNISHMENTDIVINE PUNISHMENT
Enemies hit by Lauriel’s abilities become marked. Every 4 marks trigger an explosion that deals 160 (+0.64 AP)ˀ true damage to nearby enemies and slows their movement speed by 50-90% (increases with hero level)  for 1 second. Lauriel also recovers 110 HP after the explosion.
Ability Mechanics

  • Explosion damage increases by 5 per level (230 at level 15)
  • HP recovery increases by 8 per level (222 at level 15)
  • Divine Punishment is applied for each instance of damage that a spell causes. As such, The Wheel and Smite can cause a maximum of two stacks each time they are cast while Blink can apply up to three.
  • Stacks of Divine Punishment last for 8 seconds before fading.
  • The explosion from Divine Punishment also applies a mark to other heroes

Lauriel summons the divine light, dealing 215/260/305/350/395/440 (+0.6 AP) magic damage to enemies. The path lights up shortly after and deals the same amount of magic damage again.

  • Ability Range: 900 units
  • Mana cost goes up by 5 per level.
  • The Wheel’s path lasts for one second before lighting up again.

Magic Damage
Lauriel charges towards the target direction, becomes invincible for a short period, and summons 3 energy orbs to attack nearby enemies, dealing 175/190/205/220/235/250- (+0.24 AP) magic damage with each attack. Ability cooldown is reduced by 4 seconds when it hits enemies.

Ability Mechanics:

  • Ability Range: 500 Units; Effective Range: 600 Units
  • Mana cost goes up by 5 per level.
  • Can pass through walls.
  • Blink’s projectiles prioritize enemy heroes over minions.
  • Makes Lauriel invulnerable to damage during the charge

Magic Damage
Lauriel summons a Judgment Circle that lasts 12 seconds, dealing 210/245/280 (+0.5 AP) magic damage both when the circle appears and fades. Also reduces the cooldown of her other abilities when she is in the circle.

Ability Mechanics:

  • Ability Range: 600 units
  • Mana cost goes up by 10 per level.
  • Smite makes the cooldown timer of skills tick by twice as quickly rather than reducing the total length. So skills that are already on cooldown (aside from Smite itself) will still benefit from Smite.
  • Smite’s circle lasts for 12 seconds before disappearing.

In-Game Tool Tip

Lauriel’s Smite allows her to keep using other abilities in rapid succession. This is extremely valuable and can keep her safe. Make sure Blink hits an enemy when you unleash it to reduce its cooldown.

  1. Shouldn’t the counters to Lauriel be marksmen like Slimz/Violet/Valhein etc. The reason is because it is harder to dodge auto attacks than skills. Skills are more powerful but it has cooldown but auto attacks dont have cool down so blinking once would still make Lauriel vulnerable. And since marksmen have powerful auto attacks it can easily burst down lauriel if it has high attack rate and damage. Just curious, please correct me if im wrong.

  2. The good thing about lauriel is that when she gets her third item (orb, boots, aegis), she can already start snowballing and diving into a clash or pick off 1v1. Rhea’s blessing makes her a nightmare atmost.

    I always consider putting in tome of the reaper if i have to go against life gaining heroes like Thane, Taara, and Kil Groth.

    But i really love her; love that constant triple-quadkills.

  3. I think the Level3 Magic Pierce would be 88 not 24 (missing 64 from Flurry). Don’t see how the Cooldown speed would be increased.
