Magic Damage
Preyta charges his Plague Specter for up to 2 seconds, then unleashes it and deals 250 (+0.35 AP) – 720/900/1080/1260/1440/1620 (+1.11 AP) magic damage based on the amount of channeling time. Any action while charging will unleash the Specter immediately to deal reduced damage. In the Disciple of the Plague state, movement is possible while charging.

Ability Mechanics:

  • Ability Range: 1350 units; Effective Range: 1400 units
  • The AP multiplier goes from +0.37 when uncharged to +1.11 when charged for the full 2 seconds
  • “Base damage” is based on charging for 0 seconds, which is not possible. Thus, the minimum damage Preyta will do (if you immediately fire) is 100-200 more damage than listed, depending on level
  • Actual damage in testing appears to be 30-60 greater than listed, at all levels of charge
  • In Disciple of the Plague state, activate Plague Specter again to fire before fully charged
  • Mana cost goes up by 5 per level.

Preyta detonates a Poison Bomb at the target location, knocking back surrounding enemies, dealing 250/300/350/400/450/500 (+0.5 AP) magic damage and reducing their movement speed by 30% for 2 seconds. In the Disciple of the Plague state, the Poison Bomb is replaced by nether spikes and they also stun the targets for 0.75 second. Can follow up immediately after casting Plague Specter.

Arena of Valor Disciple of the PlagueDISCIPLE OF THE PLAGUE

Magic Damage
Preyta fuses with the Wyvern Spirit and enters the Disciple of the Plague state for 10 seconds, immediately refreshing the cooldowns of Plague Specter and Poison Gas Bomb and enhancing their effects on their next use. While in this state, Preyta also receives a shield that absorbs 500/750/1000 (+1.2 AP) damage, gains 15% movement speed, and 24/32/40% attack speed. His normal attack’s range is also significantly increased and inflicts 100/175/250 (+0.5 AP) area magic damage.

  • Attack range increases to 800 units, from 600
  • Mana cost goes up by 20 per level.
  • Shield remains active for as long as Disciple of Plague stays active.
  • Preyta’s attacks cannot crit while in this state

In-Game Tool Tip

Before entering a team fight, use Plague Specter to lower enemies’ HP. Follow this up with Disciple of the Plague, so that you can increase Preyta’s damage output and use Plague Specter again immediately.

    Anyway from 7.5 to 8.5 is a good jump, i’m curious about why he raised

    • A simple mis-evaluation on our part, to be honest. Many high-level players (including our recently-signed team) singled him out as a hero that needed to be rated higher.
