Arena of Valor International Championship (AIC) 2018 Predictions (Knockout and Group Stages)
With the Arena of Valor International Championships (AIC) 2018 on the horizon (November 23, 2018), Samurai Gamers’ head writer DTwo lays down his predictions on which teams would progress through the Knockout and Group Stages of the tournament. AIC 2018 Format
As mentioned in our previous article on the AIC, the 16 teams who qualified for AIC 2018 were arranged into four groups. The four seed teams from Vietnam (Team Flash), Thailand (Bazaar Gaming), South Korea (AHQ e-Sports Club) and Taiwan (J Team) have drawn three of the non-seed teams for the Knockout Stages.
Note that the seed teams will automatically proceed to the Group Stage and only the 12 non-seed teams will participate in the knockouts.
After the Knockout Stage, the teams placing last in their respective groupings will be eliminated from the tournament while the top two teams will proceed to the Group Stage.
