LIFTOFF Physical Damage Control Mana: 140 Cooldown: 70 |
Max fires trackers that attach to all enemy heroes for a short time. The trackers allow allies to see the enemies’ locations and interrupt enemy recall actions. While the trackers are active, Max can then select an enemy to track and ram into by holding down the ability button. Ramming into the enemy deals 700/950/1200 (+2.0 AD) physical damage and knocks them back. If Max takes too long to select an enemy, then he will have to fire the trackers again. When Max lands, he activates a magnetic force field that reduces his damage taken, increases his resistance by 30%, and shocks all nearby enemies. Pressing the ability again while Max is tracking an enemy will cancel the attack, making Max land immediately and activate his force field.

Why can’t I use Max in 3v3?
He is disabled due to a bug that allowed him to fly off of the map.
So… It’s over 2 months later.. Are they ever going to fix the bug or just remove this character from the game?? If it’s the latter then I may just delete this game and go back to playing LoL. Hate it when they remove good/unique things from games cuz they too lazy/cheap to fix them.
Cancel that.. looks like half the heroes aren’t even available on switch, that’s stupid..
Items that you recommended here is already 40% cdr. Why building valiance when it’s already 40cdr?
Remember that the item and Arcana builds are just guidelines. For example, if the other team doesn’t have much magic damage, then you can pick Gaia’s Standard over Medallion of Troy and still have decent CDR. Or perhaps you want to go with Bastion over Valiance, then you can still get 40% with the build above. Plus, even if you go 10x Valiance, it’s still not the worst idea to go with the build above, as you’ll have lots of CDR in the early game so that you can be a greater help to your team faster.
I think the range for this guy is huuuuuge depending on skill. I haven’t seen one that fits with the rating of S yet, but then again I play mostly casual. On casual, Max is almost at Valhein levels of newb trap. Every games I see one I groan since they mostly charge at things and feed. They also constantly lose 1 on 1s in lanes. Sure it’s a new hero so it’s semi-expected but I haven’t noticed Teemees, Lauriels, Ryomas, or Omens getting straight-up massacred game after game like the Maxes (on NA).
Again, not saying Max is bad but definitely seems to be highly skill-intensive.
After several experiences in a match with max.
I can say there’s two kind of max:
1.towerdiving idiot
2.maximum max, who liftoff and kill lone squishies carry whom pushing too far behind enemy lines, and great observer/ teamfight starter
towerdiving + interupt + teamwork sense : badass
Tier? S or lower?
Hi, Code! Our current Tier List (third edition) has him in Tier S+. The “+” means that the hero’s rating is largely based on the player’s skill. Max could easily be in Tier SS in the hands of a very good player but can sink to as low as Tier 2 if not played well.
