What are Berries?
Berries are consumable items found all across the Galar Region. In Pokémon Sword and Shield, berries can be used to lower a pokemon’s Effort Value (EV) or as an ingredient for cooking curry.

Acquiring Berries
Berries can be obtained through:
- Shaking berry trees multiple times. If a wild pokemon appeared from shaking, the player will lose some random berries post-battle.
- Participation in max raid battles as a battle reward.
