Gym Trainers

The trainers at Circhester stadium use rock type pokemon. You can gain an advantage over them by using grass, water, fighting, ground, and steel type pokemon. Otherwise, remember to bring as many potions, super potions, and revives as you can before taking them on.

  • Abigail – Boldore (Lv.38)
  • Kiera – Crustle (Lv.38)
  • Oliver – Carkol (Lv.39)
  • Wendy – Sudowoodo (Lv.39 )

Gym Leader Gordie (Pokemon Sword only)

  • Barbaracle (Lv.40), Shuckle (Lv. 40), Stonjourner (Lv. 41), and Coalossal (Lv.42)

Before starting your gym challenge, make sure to have at least one grass type, one water type pokemon, and one ground type pokemon. Have a grass type pokemon like Eldegoss deal with Barbacle and Stonjourner. For Shuckle, you can send out a water type pokemon to defeat it. Preferably, use a strong ground type pokemon to finish Coalossal since it will receive 4x the damage due to its fire and rock type weakness. Alternatively, you can still use your water type pokemon to fight Coalossal but expect that it will not be defeated quickly by one turn.
