Hop with Zacian/Zamazenta Slumbering Weald Battle
- Dubwool (Lv. 69), Snorlax (Lv. 68), Corviknight (Lv. 69), Pincurchin (Lv. 68), Cinderace/Rillaboom/Inteleon (Lv. 70), Zacian/Zamazenta (Lv.70)
This is the last post-game storyline battle against Hop in Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield. Hop still starts with Dubwool in battle. Use Cinderace or a fighting type pokemon to quickly defeat it. Depending on the pokemon you use, Hop will rotate in his own starter, Snorlax, Corviknight, or Pincurchin. Use fighting type or electric type moves on Corviknight, ground type moves on Pinchurchin, and fighting type moves on Snorlax. If Hop calls his own starter, send out your own to capitalize on its weakness. Lastly, Hop will send his crowned form Zacian or Zamazenta. Remember his legendary pokemon is a dual-type, so take advantage of its steel type weakness.
If Hop has a Zacian, send Cinderace or another starter with a higher speed stat. This will give you the first priority when it comes to launching attacks. If Hop has a Zamazenta, send out a starter or another strong pokemon that can exploit it’s fighting and steel type weaknesses. Just be prepared that it will take a longer time to defeat Zamazenta because of its additional defense.
