Rotom Rally
The Rotom Rally is a series of racing mini-games that take place in the wild areas. To join, you must first obtain the Rotom bike on the route 5 bridge. Afterward, talk to any watt traders in the wild areas to race.
Mechanics
The objective of each race is to reach the finish line before time runs out. Scattered throughout each course are small and large balloons. Grabbing the former gives you a temporary speed boost while the latter gives you additional time to complete the course.
Wild pokemon will wander around the wild area during the race. Colliding with them will cause you to slow down, so avoid them as much as possible.
Rewards
Watts are rewarded for completing the race within the time limit. The faster you get to the finish line, the more watts you will earn. Points are also accumulated for clearing courses.
TM14 Thunder Wave is rewarded for completing your first Rotom Rally. Upon getting 20,000 points, you will receive TM80 Volt Switch. Complete Rotom Rally many times and you’ll obtain the Fast Ball.
