Special Serial Codes
Several in-game items for Pokemon Sword and Shield can be obtained through exclusive serial codes. These are offered as special purchase bonuses for either version or the double pack.
Dynamax Larvitar and Jangmo-o Crystals
The Pokemon Sword and Shield Double Pack comes with two serial codes to get unique Dynamax crystals. When used, players will be able to engage in Max Raid Battles against special Dynamax Pokemon.
Dynamax Larvitar and Dynamax Jangmo-o can be encountered and obtained in Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield respectively.
Starter Quick Balls
Downloading a digital copy of either version on the Nintendo eShop grants a serial code for 12 Quick Balls when starting the game.
Tracksuit Outfit
A serial code can be obtained by pre-ordering either version or the double pack from special retail stores. When redeemed, players will receive the special tracksuit outfit consisting of the track jacket, track pants, sports leggings, sports shoes, sports cap, and sports gloves. Stores offering the serial code are 7 Net Shopping in Japan, ShopTo and GAME in the UK, GAME in Spain, Smyths Toy Store in Ireland, and Gamestop in Italy.
Gold-studded Backpack
Purchasing either version from Amazon in the US and Japan grants a serial code for a special gold backpack.
