Guide for Wyndon Champion Cup Finals Stage (Bea)

The Wyndon Champion Cup is the pokemon league in Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield. The trainer who wins the semifinals proceeds to the finals stage to face one of the Gym challengers.

Recommended Pokemon

Bea is the counterpart of Allister and can also be rebattled in the champion cup. Bea also taught her Pokemon some new tricks which means you need to find ways to play around them. Your team should be around level 75.

Here are the suggested Pokemon to use against Bea’s team:

• Fairy: Sylveon
• Flying: Corviknight, Pelipper
• Poison: Galarian Weezing
• Psychic: Espeon, Gardevoir

Bea Finals Stage Battle

• Hawlucha (Lv. 60), Grapploct (Lv. 60), Sirfetch’d (Lv. 61), Falinks (Lv. 61), Machamp (Lv. 62)

Bea sends out Hawlucha which is her only fighting type that has a secondary typing. It has Swords Dance which raises its attack stat by two stages, so you need to pick it off as fast as possible. Use strong fairy, flying, or psychic types. Sylveon, Corviknight, and Espeon are all great choices because you can find them early. However, it can be a bit tricky to play around Hawlucha if the fairy types move last because of its poison type move. When she’s about to send out Grapploct, you may switch to a Pokemon with the intimidate ability to weaken its attacks. After that, swap back to your fairy, flying, or psychic type to take the weakened hit. You may now use this time to feed X Attack, X Special Attack or use Hone Claws or Calm Mind a few turns. Use a strong special attack like Moonblast or Psychic to defeat Grapploct. On the next few turns, use dynamax and hit each of her remaining Pokemon with your Pokemon’s strongest max moves.
