Guide for Wyndon Champion Cup Finals Stage (Deneb)
The Wyndon Champion Cup is the pokemon league in Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield. The trainer who wins the semifinals proceeds to the finals stage to face one of the Gym challengers.
Recommended Pokemon
Deneb honed his fighting type Pokemon and two of these have secondary types. You can use the same lineup from your previous battles against Bea however you have to be wary of some Pokemon that may use moves other than fighting types. Your team should be around level 75.
Here are the suggested Pokemon to use against Deneb’s team:
- Fairy: Galarian Weezing, Sylveon, Togekiss
- Flying: Corviknight
- Psychic: Espeon, Gardevoir
Deneb Finals Stage Battle
- Falinks (Lv. 56), Grapploct (Lv. 56), Hawlucha (Lv. 57), Lucario (Lv. 57), Sirfetch’d (Lv. 58)
Deneb leads with Falinks which uses First Impression to chip off your Pokemon’s health. Corviknight is a great choice. Although Corviknight’s type isn’t the most impressive when it comes to its secondary steel typing, if you raised one early to gain more levels, you should be fine to take hits and score knockouts. Another great type to have is Psychic or Fairy such as Espeon or Sylveon respectively. Both of these types resist fighting type moves and have powerful attacks of their own. Among Deneb’s Pokemon, Lucario is the most threatening because of its coverage moves. To prevent Lucario from using Shadow Ball or Flash Cannon, you can use dynamax to boost your attack’s base power. If your Pokemon has Mystical Fire or other fire type moves, you’ll have the option to use Max Flare as well.
